Pikmin Bloom Squad Calculator
Add your Pikmin, pick the mushroom you're attacking, and see your total attack power update live. The link at the top of your browser holds the whole squad, so sharing it is all it takes.
What the squad calculator works out
Each Pikmin you add gets its own attack number, and the squad's attack power is those numbers added together. Every one starts from its type's base power — Purple Pikmin are highest, at 6 — then gains a bonus for maturity, for being a Decor Pikmin, for friendship hearts (worth up to +20) and for event decor while an event is running.
Choose a target mushroom and the final term switches on: the type matchup. Matching a regular mushroom's colour is worth +12. Against a special mushroom the single correct type is worth +100, and every other type contributes nothing. Enter your level too, and the calculator checks you can field the minimum squad that mushroom's size demands.
How to read the result
The large number is your squad's total attack power against the chosen target. On a phone it follows you in a bar at the bottom of the screen once you scroll down to edit, so the answer never leaves view.
Warnings appear beneath the total. The one to act on is “can’t damage”: those Pikmin count for zero against a special mushroom, however grown they are. “No matchup bonus” means something else — those Pikmin still hit, they just earn nothing extra. Open “Show the maths” to see every term of every row.
Worked example: 10 Red Pikmin
Take 10 Red Pikmin at Flower, with no Decor and no hearts. That is exactly the minimum a Normal mushroom requires, and a level-8 player can already field it. Against a Normal Red mushroom the colours match, so each Pikmin scores 19 and the squad totals 190. To see how long that takes and which star rating it earns, carry the squad into the star calculator.
Point the same squad at a Fire mushroom instead. Red is the one type that can damage it, and the correct-type bonus outweighs everything else in the sum: each Pikmin now scores 107, for a total of 1,070. Swap in Blue Pikmin and the total is 0 — not weaker, zero.
When the number won't match the game
The calculator cannot see your Pikmin, so the total is only as good as the rows you enter; a heart or a maturity stage out on a few rows adds up. Event mushrooms are not modelled: the decor bonus against them (as much as +300) applies to a mushroom whose health changes with every event. And a patch can change any value — each one carries the date it was last checked.
Squad calculator FAQ
Does my player level change my attack power?
No. Your level decides how many Pikmin you can field — 10 at level 8, rising to 40 from level 20 — but two players with identical Pikmin deal identical damage.
Why do some of my Pikmin show 0 attack?
Your target is a special mushroom, and each special can only be damaged by one Pikmin type — only Red Pikmin can hurt a Fire mushroom, for example. Every other Pikmin in the squad contributes 0, so swap them out rather than growing them.
How many Pikmin do I need for a giant mushroom?
A giant will not start with fewer than 20 Pikmin in your squad, and level 12 is the first level that can field that many. Enter your level and the calculator warns you before you try.
Can I share my squad with friends?
Yes. The whole squad lives in the page's address, so sending the link — or tapping “Copy link” — hands someone exactly the squad you built, ready for them to edit.
