Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 26, 2026

We use a handful of strictly-necessary cookies to run the site, plus Google Analytics cookies, which are on by default and can be turned off at any time. No advertising cookies are set today.

What cookies we use

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. We keep them to a minimum: a few that are needed for the site to work, and Google Analytics cookies, which are on by default and can be turned off at any time.

Google Analytics

By default, we load Google Analytics 4, which sets the two _ga cookies above to measure traffic β€” unless you have opted out (see below). Google may process this in the United States. See our Privacy Policy for more.

Local storage (not cookies)

Separately from cookies, the squad calculator saves your last squad in your browser's local storage under the key pbw.squad.v1, your Pikmin inventory is saved under pbw.inventory.v1, and your player profile β€” your level and whether you hold Mushroom Recharge Tickets β€” under pbw.profile.v1. They hold only what you entered β€” Pikmin types, maturities, hearts, counts, the target mushroom and your level β€” never anything that identifies you. All three stay on this device, are never sent to us or to anyone else, and are used only to offer "Restore my squad", to fill in your inventory page, and to save you retyping your level in both calculators. Clearing your squad, removing your inventory rows or emptying your profile removes them, and clearing your browser's site data removes them too. If your browser blocks site data the calculators simply work as they always did, and the inventory page tells you it cannot save.

Managing cookies

Google Analytics cookies are on by default, everywhere. You can opt out at any time using the link below β€” this stops Analytics and clears any Analytics cookies already set in your browser. You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser settings.
