Pikmin Bloom Star Calculator
A star rating needs both enough attack power and a fast enough finish. Build each player's squad (or drop in a total you already know), and the group's combined power is projected to a rating against a mushroom β remember, late joiners add power but can't turn back the clock.
What the star calculator projects
A star rating is decided by how fast the mushroom falls, and that depends on two things only: its health and the group's combined attack power. The calculator totals every player's attack β built Pikmin by Pikmin, or typed in as a number you already know β and turns it into a completion time: health divided by total attack, times 100, in seconds.
That time is then checked against each tier's limit. One star only asks you to finish; four stars needs the mushroom down within 1h 5m 45s. Because time follows from attack, every tier can also be shown as the attack it takes against the mushroom you picked β which is the table under the result.
How to read the projection
The headline is the rating the group is on course for, with its completion time and the reward bonus that tier pays β from 5% for finishing to 20% for four stars. Under it, the table lists the attack each tier needs, and a single line says how much more attack reaches the next star.
Set a target finish time and the calculator runs the equation backwards, showing the total strength required and how far short you are.
Worked example: 5 players on a Small Red mushroom
5 players is a full group without tickets. Say each brings 20 Red Pikmin at Flower β a squad a level-12 player can field. Against a Red mushroom the colours match, so every Pikmin scores 19; each player adds 380, and the group totals 1,900.
A Small Red mushroom has 87,400 health, so the group clears it in 1h 16m 40s: 3 stars and a 15% reward bonus. Reaching 4 stars takes 2,215 attack β 315 more, or roughly 17 extra Red Pikmin spread across the group.
When the projection won't match the game
The tier time limits come from one fully published battle and are assumed to hold for every mushroom. Until a second mushroom confirms them, treat every rating here as a close estimate rather than a promise.
Another common cause is a late start: anyone who joins partway adds attack, but the clock started without them. Use remaining health for a battle already under way, and custom health for event mushrooms, which have no fixed health.
Star calculator FAQ
How much attack do I need for four stars?
It depends on the mushroom's health. Four stars means finishing within 1h 5m 45s, so the attack needed is the health Γ 100 Γ· 3,945. For a Small Red mushroom that is 2,215; bigger mushrooms need proportionally more. Pick one and the calculator shows it.
Why does joining late cost stars?
The rating is judged on the battle's total time. A player who joins late adds attack from that moment, but cannot give back the time already spent β so starting together is worth more than one extra player later.
How many players can join one mushroom?
5 without tickets. Mushroom Recharge Tickets open extra slots up to a cap that grows with size, reaching 40 on a giant. Each player brings their own squad, and all of their attack counts towards the rating.
Is the projected star rating exact?
Not guaranteed yet. The arithmetic is exact, but the tier time limits come from a single published battle and are assumed to apply to every mushroom, so results are labelled estimates until a second mushroom confirms them.
What reward bonus does each star rating give?
5% for one star, 10% for two, 15% for three and 20% for four. One star needs only a finish; each tier above it has a tighter time limit.
